FEED-A-FAMILY ENDS A YEAR OF GIVING ON A HIGH NOTE FOR AQUARIUS CASINO RESORT AND EDGEWATER CASINO RESORT

The Golden Entertainment casino resorts’ various philanthropic initiatives in 2023
resulted in $612,829 in donations to date for local Tri-State community charities.
Laughlin, Nevada – Jan. 5, 2024 – Aquarius Casino Resort, located at 1900 S. Casino Dr. and Edgewater Casino Resort, located at 2020 S. Casino Dr., helped spread holiday cheer to the families that needed it most through their annual Feed-A-Family initiative, which concluded at the end of December. The initiative, which benefited local food pantries capped a year of philanthropic efforts by the Golden Entertainment casino resorts resulting in total donations of $612,829 benefitting various Tri-State community charities and non-profit organizations.
Each year Aquarius and Edgewater partner with local food pantries to donate one box of holiday food, sized to feed a family of four, for each 25,000 True Rewards Points earned at the Casino resorts, with each box including a ham or turkey, along with traditional holiday fixings of potatoes, gravy, vegetables, stuffing and pie. Now in its twelfth year, Feed-A-Family helped provide 2,530 meals serving to feed over 10,000 people.
Local food pantries the initiative benefited include ACS Food Bank, Bullhead City Homeless Youth Program, Colorado River Food Bank, Cornerstone Mission, Food for Families, Golden Valley Family Resources, Havasu Community Health Foundation Food Bank, Isabel’s Pantry, Kingman Food Bank, Mohave Valley Food Pantry, Nana’s Pantry, Needles Community Partners, Set Free Church and St. Vincent de Paul.
Dedicated to fostering the local community and giving back through various area charities and non-profit organizations throughout the year, Aquarius and Edgewater had the following notable initiatives that added to the 2023 total: October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiative which donated $10,000 to We Care Cancer Support in Bullhead City, AZ; R.E.D Friday, through which $10,059 was dedicated to the Tri-State Military Mom’s organization in Bullhead City; and a September Food Drive through which 15,356 food items were gathered and donated to Food For Families in Bullhead City, Colorado River Food Bank and Laughlin Jr/Sr. High School, where the food will assist with the school’s backpack program.
