Goo Goo Dolls and Collective Soul Ready to Rock the Laughlin Event Center Stage this September

July 19, 2021

Laughlin, Nevada – (July 19, 2021) The Laughlin Event Center continues to add to its schedule of award-winning performers set to take the stage with the addition of American rockers Goo Goo Dolls and Collective Soul, set to perform on Saturday, Sept. 18.

Formed by John Rzeznik and Robby Takac in 1986, Goo Goo Dolls have sold 15 million records worldwide, garnered four GRAMMY® Award nominations and seized a page in the history books by achieving 16 No. 1 and Top 10 hits, the most of any artist. They hold the all-time radio record for most Top 10 singles with hits including “Iris,” which was No. 1 on the Hot 100 list for 18 straight weeks and would be named “#1 Top 40 Song of the Last 20 Years.” Their music has been covered by everyone from Taylor Swift to Leona Lewis. Among many accolades, Rzeznik received the prestigious “Hal David Starlight Award” in 2008 as well.

With their 1993 release of “Hints, Allegations and Things Left Unsaid,” Georgia-bred alternative rockers Collective Soul found fame with their hit song “Shine.” They followed it up two years later with their self-titled album featuring four Top 10 singles, including “December,” “The World I Know,” “Gel” and “Smashing Young Man.” With three of the original band members still touring, their live shows are a dynamic integration of fan favorites and fresh new material.

Tickets will go on sale to the public beginning at 10 a.m. PT on Friday, July 23.  True Rewards Players Club members will have exclusive access to purchase presale tickets from 10 a.m. PT on Tuesday, July 20 through Thursday, July 22 at 10 p.m. PT.
